Join our CSA and become a shareholder of the harvest!
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, and over the past 20 years it has become a very popular way for consumers to buy local, seasonal food directly from a farmer. The customer pays the farmer early in the season and thus reserves their "share" of the harvest. Shares will be picked up each week starting from mid-June and lasting until mid-October in an average season.
For those new to community supported agriculture, the key to remember is that the harvest will follow the natural cycle of the season- meaning the first few weeks of shares will be a little smaller than those coming thereafter. By mid-July, many of the summer vegetable favorites will be available and the weekly share will contain a respectable amount of food. Some years there may be more of one crop or less of another because every growing season is different.

2012 CSA Information:
This season our CSA will only be available in one size called a "share". If you were part of our CSA last year, this will normally provide more than the half share did but less than the full share did.
With our farm share we will aim to provide a good variety of vegetables for the average family. Our season usually begins in mid-June and runs into October.
Also new this year is the pick-up location. Although its nice to have the CSA pick-up at the farm, we have agreed with our landlord to have the CSA off-site.
Gaouette Farm CSA pick-up will be:
Mondays, 5:00PM to 6:00PM at the North Andover Town Common.

Gaouette Farm will be attending the Andover Farmers Market every Saturday from 12:30PM to 3:30PM opening June 25 and running to the second week in October. This market is in downtown Andover at 97 Main St.

*This season we are not growing our own sweet corn due to space requirements. However, sweet corn will be included in your CSA share, from Barker's Farm in North Andover, when available.
